This is the first part of a new series by Jessie Kelley. This book introduces the main characters and sets up the story. With this author you are sure to experience lots of great plot twists that make you keep reading. I've really enjoyed the characters, even mean Grace, who I'm looking forward to seeing how her character is developed so we understand what is driving her motives.

I don't want to give away the story but I felt like the reality show portion of the story, although well written, was written at a ten thousand foot level and we missed a lot making the falling in love and marriage proposal feel very rushed. As I noted, Jessie Kelley is a good story teller so I'm expecting this first segment to be the jump off point for a roller coaster ride of a story with lots of twists and turns.
I received an ARC and I am leaving my own opinion of the book.

Cindy needs a change, all she does is work so her friend decides to take things into her own hands. She sends in a application for Cindy to be one of the contestants on “Farmer Wants a Wife Show”. Cindy doesn’t like the idea at all & says it’s not for her but, in the end, decides to go on the show. She is wondering if she is crazy or what! She does want to change her boring life and live a little. Cindy does meet the farmer and it turns out he remembers her from her childhood. Can’t tell you much more or I will spoil it. Cindy does get good news. Looking forward to the next book!

Okay an interesting way to start a series.
Cindy's friend sends her name into a reality show.
Once there she will try her best but isn't putting faith that she'll win the farmer.
Mark is the farmer. He knew Cindy when she was younger. He annoyed her in school.
The two have a connection.
When the winner is chosen one of the contestants who lost, Grace, goes ballistic. She threatens Cindy and Mark.
Can't wait to see where this goes.

Love all things Jessie Kelley. Cindy's best friend Lisa signs her up to be on a reality tv show, "Farmer wants a Wife." Cindy is uncertain, but is looking for a partner. Once arriving for the show, all the girls are catty especially Grace. How will things work out in the end? Looking forward to reading book two!

This was a story of Grace a workaholic but her best friend Lisa wants her to live her life and have fun. She signs her up for “A Farmer wants a wife” a reality show. She’s thinking its different but decides to try. She meets the farmer and gets a surprise. They have a learn about each other but will it work. What will happen next? I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

intriguing story

I'm annoyed that this is a series of very short books and I must continue with another edition to get the rest of the story.
I do very much like the story. It has held my attention. FARMER WANTS A WIFE is a great break from my own daily issues. It would make Jake a great week-end read if it was composed in a different format as one book instead of series.

Wow! A shocking ending to book 1. I loved Cindy and her attitude. She was sweet and not cunning. Mark was also a sweet man. Can’t wait to read book 2.

Excellent read. The ending is something I never saw coming.

Awesome book. I Loved it & highly recommend it to everyone who likes this genre. I will reread it one day.

What a delightful story. A great start for Jessie Kelley's new set of books. Book one made me want to come back for book two. I enjoyed reading this story.

What a fun, delightful Rom-com. The chemistry between the two is evident for all to see. A great series starter. I cannot wait to read their adventures. I received an Advanced Reader Copy from the author & I am writing an honest review.
